History
of the Club...
How
it all started
Back in 1991, Joel Zeisler was contacted by a person looking for water skiing lessons. As it would turn out that person was a Viet Nam War veteran that happened to be visual impaired and with this began Joel's journey of aiding the disabled. Two years later The Leaps of Faith
Disabled Water Ski Club began its first group clinics for the disabled. Lead instructor Joel
Zeisler, a former National Water Ski Champion is often assisted by
top-notch guest instructors, many of whom are also national champions.
The goal of the Leaps of
Faith Water Ski Club, is to build lasting confidence and fulfillment,
through exposure
and professional training in recreational and competitive water skiing
to both disabled children and adults.
