The Wounded
Warrior Program... 
Leaps of Faith Disabled Water-skiers is proud to announce our second
Wounded Warrior program. In the past, LOF has been involved in and supplied
equipment along with instructor's for many of the Disabled Sports USA (DSUSA) chapters and other
organization's putting on Wounded Warrior events. This has been ongoing
since 2005. These events are primarily for Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans, men and women alike who are coming home with life changing
injuries. We are not limited to but also support all veterans with our
programs. Not only do we serve our soldiers but their families are also
included in our weekend events. The goal of these events for our soldiers is
to have fun, socialization and to learn the skill of water-skiing and
kayaking (along with instructor's from NEHSA); with the motto "I can do this,
I can do anything."
This years dates are June 24th thru June 27th, 2010, on Lake Lillinonah,
Southbury, CT. There will be limited enrollment of up to 25 soldiers plus
their families. Our 3 day event will include water-skiing, kayaking,
swimmimg, fishing and a unique banquet Saturday night. All this is at no
cost for the soldiers and their families. As always, Leaps Of faith Disabled
Water-Skiers programs are run with certified instructor's and complete
insurance coverage.
